FRONT OFFICE LAB

Air-Conditioned Front office lab which is situated on the2ND floor, is well equipped reception and lounge which caters the training needs of 1st, 2nd, 3rd year students in front office core area. It is also equipped with computer terminals to get hands on practice on PMS. This lab facilitates students to excel in communication skills, presentation skills and handling guest different situation.


FOOD PRODUCTION LABS

Institute is well equipped to impart culinary skills amongst the students.

Basic Training Kitchen (B.T.K.) is providing base to the fresh aspirant of the graduation course.

Quantity Training Kitchen (Q.T.K.) is used for inputs on the bulk cooking processes using different regional Indian cuisines as base for 2nd year students.

Advance Training Kitchen (A.T.K.) is being used to further enhance the culinary skills and International cuisine is used to facilitate the same.


BAKERY AND CONFECTIONARY LAB

Bakery & Confectionary facility is available in all the kitchens and a separate bakery Lab is also available for hands on practices demonstrations. Institute has state-of-the-art Research Kitchen dedicated to innovations in the area of Food Production.


FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE LABS

The Food & Beverage department of the institute consists of two air-conditioned restaurants & bars and can cater to 80-100 persons. Students are trained to understand and practice fundamentals of food and beverages services, to pay attention to the needs of guests and learn to deal with various situations through simulations and real life experiences during academic programs.

Advance Training Restaurant

This lab is equipped with all specialized training equipments such as gueridon, buffet where a team of senior students is assisted by junior students to manage food and beverage service operations during lunch hour. This helps to enhance practical skills as well as interpersonal skills of participating students while providing the ambience of a fine dining restaurant.

Basic Training Restaurant

This lab is fully equipped with restaurant equipments, specifically to provide hands-on training to first year students of BHM program. The restaurant has a total capacity of 40 covers. It caters a la’ carte meal supplied by kitchen labs and Bakery and confectionery labs on regular basis.

Bar

The attached mock bar is equipped to train students about various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and preparation of various cocktails and mocktails of international standards.


HOUSEKEEPING

A well-maintained HK laboratory for preparation of area cleaning activities, class demonstrations and discussions.

Laundry Lab

A functional laundry equipped with industrial laundry machines. Used for training and laundering in-house linen and staff uniforms.

Linen Store

Room maintained for in-house linen inventory.

Model Guest Room

Two well designed guest rooms for training in room cleaning processes and accommodating institute guests.


COMPUTER LAB

The Institute has a well-equipped state-of-the-art Computer Lab which can accommodate at least thirty-five students at a time. Individual PC stations help enable the faculty to focus on the learning outcomes of each student separately and to provide corrective coaching for the desired level of practice and perfection. LCD Projectors, Multimedia, Overhead Projectors, CDs on each subject area – these are some of the audio-visual aids used extensively by the faculty to ensure a more effective learning environment for the students.

ComputerLab

LIBRARY

An enriched library with latest books, journals, magazines and periodicals is the centre of attraction for students. This fully automated library presently houses more than 50000 latest reference titles on technical, management and related subjects as well as 60 national/international journals helps the students and faculty to keep abreast with the latest developments. The different sections of library have been fully automated through e-institute management system. The online web journal facility is also used to provide access to abstracts and full text versions of major national and international journals in the field of engineering, medicine, hospitality, architecture and information technology. Live video lectures are also delivered by eminent professors from the world-class institutions to students and faculty members.
