Conference Date:  The conference will be held on March 27, 2010.

Paper submission  Each submission should include the following information / items:
a) An abstract of about 200 words and manuscripts must be prepared according to the
format specified in the recent addition of MLA hand book for Writers of Research
Paper/APA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers. Manuscript must be double-
spaced and typeset in 12-point Times New Roman.


b) Submission should be made electronically in MS Word 97-03 and e-mailed to

subhashsdec@gmail.com and drvipintyagi@rediffmail.com

 

Important Deadlines

Submission of abstract: March 15, 2010

 

Souvenir
A Souvenir will be released during the convention which will contain the conference details, abstracts of invited lecturers, contributed papers and message from dignitaries. In addition to the Souvenir, conference proceedings having selected papers will be published.

 

Registration
It is compulsory for at least one author of each accepted paper to register for the national conference in order for the paper to be included in the Technical Programme and Literary Programme and to appear in the conference proceedings.

 

Registration Fee
Participants are expected to register themselves and pay the registration fee Rs. 300/-in advance as per the following details, by sending a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of “Sunder Deep Engineering College, Ghaziabad,”, till March 15 ,2010.


Note: Co-writers / authors / participants are to deposit fee separately.

Industrial Visits.

Two Industrial Visits were organized for the PGDM Students in the following reputed companies:

The students participated with full enthusiasm and great zeal. Lot of exposure was gained by them about the corporate environment and its system. It was a total knowledge enhancement session and we are looking forward for many other such visits in the near future. Individual presentations by the students were delivered after the completion of each industrial visit. All this are planned for grooming their personalities.

 

 

Fresher Party

Fresher party was organized by the Final Year Students of MBA, MCA and PGDM on 26th of Sep, 09. The event was full of innovativeness. The students were given a platform to show their managerial skills. They put forward their managerial ideas in front of the management with the help of Quizzes, Skits, Plays, Mimicry, Jokes, Dancing, Singing, etc., all ending with a note of knowledge.

In order to identify Mr. and Ms. Fresher, short listed students were made to pass through different hurdles like Talent Hunt, Quizzes, Fashion Show and individual questions, which filtered out their intellectual meeting the needs of a successful manager and the suitable winners were identified.

The entire effort of the students was appreciated by the Dean Management, Prof. Yuvraj Bhatnagar. Finally, program ended with Vote of Thanks to the Chair.

 

Guest Lecture
Organized on 10.10.09

A guest lecture by Mr. Sushanto Mitra, Chief Executive Officer of Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, IIT Bombay, was held on 10th of Oct’ 09. The topic of the lecture was "ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS A CAREER OPTION".

The students were given insight about the complexities, challenges & risk faced by an entrepreneur and were also acknowledged about the advantages and profits associated with entrepreneurship. The vast experience & knowledge of our guest lecturer explode the knowledge of our students in the field of entrepreneurship.


GUEST LECTURE
ORGANISED ON 28.10.09

A guest lecture was conducted by “Neethling Brain Instruments” (NBI), South Africa, on Unique Thinking Preferences of individuals and the use of Creativity by the individuals. They highlighted the importance of advantage of using Whole Brain Thinking while dealing with your customers, clients, etc. All together, it was a complete knowledge enhancing session for students as well as faculty members.


FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
ORGANISED ON 26.10.09

Two days faculty development program was organized in the campus by “Neethling Brain Instruments” (NBI), South Africa. It was a two way knowledge sharing process. The guest lecturers made our faculty members familiar with the concept and the complexities attached with WHOLE BRAIN EDUCATION.

Practical applications of creativity within the classroom with a positive teaching attitude was emphasized.


GUEST LECUTURE
ORGANISED ON 30.10.09

A guest lecture by Mr. O.P. Singh, IPS, Inspector General of Police Training School, Merrut., was held on 30th of Oct’ 09. The topic of the lecture was “Indian Police—Hierarchy and Professionalism”.

The lecture started off with first understanding the structure and hierarchy of IPS in India. The role of IPS Officer as a leader in the society and also the challenges faced by them was highlighted.

The student’s knowledge was enhanced by throwing the light on the functions of IPS Officers in different departments like HR, Operations, Logistics Management, Crisis Management, and Field Command.

The vast experience & knowledge of our guest lecturer explode the knowledge of our students. In the end the speaker gave a success mantra to our students—“The best way is to initiate successful people in your work and way of life”.


WORK SHOP
HELD ON 31.10.09

A full day work shop on “INDIAN TELECOME INDUSTRY” was held on 31st Oct, 09. The work shop was conducted by MR. Abhishek, IIM Indore and Mr. Dheeraj.

The whole day program was fully supported by the students with the zeal and passion shown during the entire day.

The session started with the brief history of the Indian Telecom Industry, when it started, who were the major telecom players then? The session further explored different areas like who are the present major telecoms players, what type of new technologies are being used by them, why today the customers are paying less for a telephone call, which regulatory bodies are responsible for controlling the entire industry, how ARPU is calculated and so many things linked with the industry.

A case study session along with the question and answers session was also done among the students. Overall, the work shop actually helped the students explore the practicalities attached with the telecom industry.

    4. Management Department has complete vision in improving the Professional Communication of each student and hence the campus has been declared as English Campus and the efforts have been taken accordingly.
