PGDM is two years full time program spread across six trimesters that has been designed, planned and delivered to meet ever changing business requirements. Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

2 yrs Post Graduate Degree Course recognized by UP Technical University University

MBA is highly sought master's degree in Business Administration, which attracts students from a wide range of academic streams. The MBA Program inculcates managerial skills among the students keeping in view the demands of the industry. The MBA program comprises of 4 semesters with specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management & Information Technology. Apart from regular academic inputs, industrial visits, outbound programs and educational trips are also organized to impart holistic knowledge to the budding managers. Eligibility

Master of Computer Application (MCA) mca

3 yrs Post Graduate Degree Course recognized by UP Technical University

MCA at SDEC focuses on providing a sound theoretical background as well as comprehensive practical exposure to students in Computer Science. MCA program aims at producing trained professionals who can successfully meet the demands of growing IT industry. MCA is a full-time degree course with three years duration spread across six semesters. This program exhaustively covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design & optimization, computer networks, database management, mathematics, accounting, management etc.

Eligibility

Graduates (UPSEE appeared) in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized university with mathematics at 10+2 level for graduation / BCA are eligible for seeking admission in the above program. Subject to change as per UPTU, Lucknow norms).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE STUDENTS

Kindly be informed that the 2nd and 5th Term of your academic session will commence from 20th Nov, 09 (Friday). The session will start with one day introduction program about the new session, during which you will be appraised with all nuances and niceties of being successful professional in every work of your life. During the course of this aforesaid program, you will be categorically informed the importance of English communication and relevance of the remaining course curriculum in concurrence with corporate expectations.

Management Technology - Events (PGDM)

PGDM IV

The orientation program of PGDM IV Term was held on 23.07.2009 with great hoopla and enthusiasm. The full day orientation program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof Yuvraj Bhatnagar. Students were found to be very enthusiastic. They participated whole heartedly.

The program started with the Lighting of Lamp to Goddess Saraswati by Chief Guest and all Faculty & Staff members. The chief Guest gave his blessings to the would be managers & advised them to be more serious in their studies and other activities so that their placement could be done in a better way. He also highlighted the importance of discipline and warn the students that no act of indiscipline will be tolerated.

Introduction of the following new faculties was also done:

Air Cdr. L.K. Verma spoke about the concept of "mentor? system. Under this system every student will be placed under a faculty. The faculty will work as a mentor for the student to sort out his/her problems. This will help the students to concentrate more in their studies and fulfill their aims & objectives and also fulfill their dreams for which they have come here.

Prof. Anil Rajoria spoke about the preparation of projects and project reports. He emphasized that the students should undertake their project work seriously. The categories under which the students were to under take projects were classified as "Summer Training Projects", "Live Projects? and "Research Projects?. Their significance, scope and importance were discussed well in detail in order to update students about professional excellence.

Training and Placement In charge Mr.Sohan Lal, explained the overall training and placement procedure to the students. He also invited student participation in this activity. Instructions to students were given for how to achieve better placement.

Finally the program ended with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
